Peer Review Policy
Educational Point follows a double-blind peer review process. This means the author’s and the reviewer’s identities are kept anonymous during the review process. To protect their identities, authors anonymize the submitted manuscript’s main text. Additionally, authors must anonymize their work in the references and in-text citations. Once a manuscript passes the initial editorial review, section editors assign reviewers to evaluate its originality and quality. Peer reviews are essential to ensuring the highest quality of scholarly work by providing authors with constructive feedback.
Additionally, peer reviews help editors determine whether a paper is suitable for publication in the journal. At Educational Point, we have guidelines that we ask all our reviewers to follow. To ensure a fair review process, at least two peers evaluate each manuscript before the editors decide.
All editors, authors, and reviewers must follow Educational Point’s guidelines to maintain ethical principles during the review process. If a reviewer has any conflicts of interest due to financial, intellectual, personal, or competitive relationships that could affect their professional judgment and compromise the objectivity of the review. In that case, they must inform the editors and decline the invitation. Additionally, reviewers must keep the manuscript’s contents confidential and submit their reports promptly and clearly. The first round of double-blind peer review typically takes about one to six months to complete. However, authors can expect longer turnaround times if additional revisions are necessary.
